Why Some Features Are Locked

Why some sidebar items show a lock, what the preview page shows, and how a locked feature differs from one your permission profile hides.

Outdoo AI is made up of two products: AI Roleplays (Practice) and Revenue Intelligence (Real Calls and Opportunities). Your plan decides which of them your workspace has. Sidebar items that belong to a product your plan doesn't include still appear in the sidebar, with a lock badge, so you can see what else Outdoo AI can do.

What you see when you open a locked item

Click a locked item and Outdoo AI opens a preview page in place of the feature. The preview shows:

  • Which product the feature belongs to, for example "Practice is part of AI Roleplays, which isn't in your plan."
  • A short description of the feature and the main things it helps your team do.
  • Contact support, which lets you book a call with the Outdoo AI team to talk about adding the feature.
  • See how it works, which opens the help article for that feature in a new tab.

For Practice, Real Calls and Opportunities, the preview covers every item in the section. Use the dots under the preview to move between them. The preview opens on the item you clicked.

Which items belong to which product

Product

Sidebar items

AI Roleplays

Practice (Roleplay Agents, Courses, Call Blitz, AI Trainer, History), Performance > Practice, Manage > Courses, Batches, Call Blitz, Roleplay Types, Scenarios, Workflows

Revenue Intelligence

Real Calls (History, Library, Streams), Opportunities (Pipelines, Insights), CRM Automation, Manage > Trackers, Categories, Follow-up Templates

Either product

Performance > Activity, Performance > Scorecards, Manage > Scorecards, Resources, AI Questions, Vocabulary, Labels

Items that work with either product are never locked, as long as your workspace has at least one of the two.

Locked is not the same as no access

A lock means your plan doesn't include the feature, so nobody in the workspace can use it yet.

If your plan includes a feature but your permission profile doesn't, the item doesn't appear in your sidebar at all. If you open its link directly, you see "You don't have access to this page." Ask a workspace admin to change your permission profile. See Create and Manage Permission Profiles.

Adding a feature to your plan

Click Contact support on the preview page, or write to support@outdoo.ai. Admins can see the current plan and usage in Company Settings > Billing.
