Share a call
Sharing calls in Outdoo AI lets you collaborate with team members, gather feedback, or share recordings with customers. Sharing with customers can support follow-ups and help you track how engaged they are with the content.
How to share a call
- On the call page, click Share Call in the top-right corner.
- Choose a share type:
- Share Internally to share with people in your organisation who use Outdoo AI.
- Share with Customers to share with contacts outside Outdoo AI.
Sharing full calls or snippets
- Full call: Share the entire recording.
- Snippets: In the call player, select a segment of the call to share. You can also highlight text in the transcript to bring up an inline menu, then choose Share Internally or Share with Customers.
Sharing internally
- Email: Enter a colleague's name or email address to send the link directly.
- Slack: If your Outdoo AI account is connected to Slack, you can share calls in a Slack channel. Recipients will see an AI-generated call summary in the Slack message.
Sharing with customers
Customers receive a dedicated call page link. You can share it directly or via email. The page includes:
- A recording of the call
- Call details such as participants and meeting time
- AI-generated summaries
AI summaries cover highlights (a one-paragraph summary, key points, and next steps), an outline section-by-section breakdown, a searchable transcript, and other details such as video, participant breakdown, slides, and chat messages.
You can remove AI summaries by editing the settings on the Share with Customers screen.
Link settings and access duration
Click Edit in the sharing options to adjust link settings. Default access duration is set by your admin, but you can extend it up to 100 days. Extensions can be applied again via the Shares & Views panel.
To cancel access before it expires, go to the Shares & Views panel on the call page and select Valid > Close Access.
Track call views
- You will receive an email notification when a shared call is viewed.
- Open the Shares & Views panel on the call page to see the number of views, information about each share, who viewed the call, and which snippets were listened to.
- Views from each share type (email, link, etc.) are tracked separately.
FAQs
**How are call views tracked?**\
Each share is tracked independently, even for the same call shared on different days or through different methods.
**Why can't I see who viewed my call?**\
If the link allows access to anyone, you can track usage but not viewer identities.
**How do I cancel access?**\
Go to the Shares & Views panel and click Valid > Close Access on any shared link before it expires.
