Bulk operations in Team Management

Learn how to manage multiple team members at once using bulk actions in Team Management, including activating/deactivating users, changing managers, and exporting data.

Team Management supports bulk actions so you can manage multiple users at once without editing each record individually. This is useful for onboarding a new cohort, deactivating former employees, or reorganising your team's reporting structure.

Go to Settings > People Settings > Team Management.

Selecting users

The Team Management table shows all users in your workspace. To select users for a bulk action:

  • Check the box on any individual row to select that user
  • Use the header checkbox to select all visible users on the current page
  • Apply filters first (by status, workspace, or manager) to narrow the list before selecting

A bar appears at the bottom of the table when one or more users are selected, showing the count of selected users and the available bulk actions.

Available bulk actions

Resend invites

Resend the invitation email to all selected users who have not yet joined. Useful when an initial invite expired or was missed. Only applies to users in "Invited" status.

Activate or deactivate

Enable or disable multiple users at once. Deactivated users lose access to the platform immediately but their data and history are retained. Reactivating restores their access.

Change manager

Assign or reassign the reporting manager for all selected users. A search dropdown lets you pick the new manager from your user list. Useful after a team restructure or a manager change.

Download to Excel

Export the selected users' data to an Excel file. The export includes user details, status, workspace, and manager assignment. If no filters are applied, the export covers all users.

Filtering before bulk actions

Use the available filters to narrow the user list before selecting:

  • Status — show only joined users, only invited users, or all
  • Workspace — filter by a specific workspace if your organisation uses multiple
  • Manager — filter by direct manager to work on a specific team

Combining filters before selecting all makes it easy to act on a precise subset — for example, all invited users in a specific workspace who have not yet accepted.
