Connecting your dialer to Outdoo
Outdoo integrates with a range of sales dialers so that calls made through your dialer are automatically captured, transcribed, and analysed — without any manual upload step. Once connected, every call your team makes flows into Outdoo in real time.
Go to Settings > Conversation Capture > Dialers to see available integrations and connect your dialer.
How the integration works
When your dialer is connected, Outdoo receives the call recording and metadata (participant names, timestamps, direction) directly from the dialer after each call ends. The call is then transcribed, scored against any active scorecards, and made available in the Conversations list.
You do not need to configure anything on a per-call basis. Once the integration is live at the workspace level, all qualifying calls are captured automatically.
Connecting a dialer
From the Dialers page, you will see two sections: connected integrations and available integrations. Each available dialer shows as a card with a Connect button.
The connection method varies by dialer but generally requires one of the following:
- API key — generate an API key in your dialer's settings, then paste it into the Outdoo connection form. The Close and VICI dialer integrations use this method.
- OAuth — you are redirected to the dialer's login page to authorise the connection. No API key required.
- Webhook URL — Outdoo provides a webhook URL that you paste into your dialer's outbound webhook or recording delivery settings.

Personal dialer settings
In addition to the workspace-level integration, individual users can configure their personal dialer preferences at My Settings > Dialers. This is where you confirm your own connection status and manage any user-specific settings your dialer requires.
Calls not appearing after connecting
If calls are not showing up after you connect a dialer, the most common causes are:
- Call recording is not enabled in the dialer itself — Outdoo can only receive recordings that the dialer sends
- The API key or webhook configuration was entered incorrectly
- The dialer is sending recordings to an old or invalid endpoint
