Associate a call to an account or opportunity
Learn how to manually associate calls with accounts or opportunities in Outdoo AI to ensure they appear in deal and account activity records.
Linking calls to accounts or opportunities ensures they are included in deal and account activity, which can be viewed on the Deals and Accounts pages. Outdoo AI typically associates calls automatically, but you can manually correct or assign associations when needed. Common situations include a contact using multiple email addresses or an account having multiple opportunities.
Important notes
- Calls cannot be associated with leads or individual call participants.
- Once you manually associate a call, it will no longer update automatically. For example, if a CRM contact is linked to a participant after a manual association is made, that contact will not be added to the call's associations.
Manually associate an unassociated call
- Open the call page and click Call Info in the left menu, then select Associate Call.
- Choose the desired account and opportunity from the list. Hover over each to view their CRM details.
- To link the call to additional accounts or opportunities, click + Add Association.
- Click Update. Changes may take up to an hour to appear in Outdoo AI.
Change an existing association
- Open the call page and click Call Info in the left menu, then select Associate Call.
- In the dialog, click the Remove icon next to the account or opportunity you want to remove.
- Click Update to save the changes.
