Software simulation FAQs
What systems can be simulated?
Any browser-based system. The most common use cases are CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho), dialer consoles, and internal forms or ticketing tools. If your team has a post-call workflow that runs in a browser, it can be turned into a simulation.
Who can create simulations?
Admins and users with Manager access. If you need access to the simulation builder, ask your workspace admin or contact support@outdoo.ai.
Does this affect live data?
No. Simulations run inside a replica interface. Nothing you click or type during a simulation touches your actual CRM, dialer, or any other connected system.
How is accuracy measured?
The simulation defines a correct path — the exact steps, fields, and sequence that represent the right way to complete the workflow. Your actions are compared against that path. You get step-level feedback showing exactly where you matched and where you diverged.
Can reps retry a simulation?
Yes. Reps can attempt a simulation multiple times. Each attempt is logged, so managers can track progression rather than relying on a single score.
Does simulation work on mobile?
Simulations are a desktop feature. The Outdoo mobile app supports roleplay practice, course access, and feedback review. For simulation playback, use the desktop app.
What is the difference between software simulation and AI roleplay?
AI roleplay is for practicing conversations — what you say to a prospect or customer. Software simulation is for practicing the operational tasks that follow the conversation: CRM updates, form submissions, disposition selection. They are complementary. Most teams use both as part of the same training sequence.
Can I see my team's simulation results?
Yes, if you have Manager or Admin access. Go to your coaching dashboard and filter by simulation. You can see completion rates, accuracy scores, and step-level breakdowns by rep and by team.
What if the simulation does not match our actual tool?
The simulation needs to be updated by your admin. Simulations are built from screenshots of the real interface, so if your tool has been updated since the simulation was created, flag it to your admin. You can also contact support@outdoo.ai for help rebuilding it.
