Create call categories
Learn how to create and manage call categories in Outdoo AI to apply targeted coaching initiatives to specific sets of calls based on custom filters.
Call categories in Outdoo AI let you apply coaching initiatives to a filtered set of calls. For example, you can apply different initiatives for incoming and outgoing calls, or for calls where a specific tracker such as pricing is mentioned.
Create a category
- Go to Company Settings > Analysis > Categories and click Add new Category.
- Enter a Category Name. Use a name that is clear and easy to understand across your company.
- Set a Filter to narrow the category. You can filter on 45+ parameters including affiliation, CRM data, and trackers.
- Click Create to save the category.
Edit a category
- Go to Company Settings > Analysis > Categories.
- Use the search box to find the category you want to edit.
- Click Edit and adjust the name or filters as needed.
- Save your changes.
How categories are used
- Coaching Initiatives: Use categories to filter which calls a coaching initiative applies to.
- Future uses include integration with AI Docs and Automated Labels.
