Use deal boards
Get an overview of your pipeline
Select a deal board from the list at the top of the tab, or create one tailored to your needs. Boards can track renewals, swing deals, or pipeline for upcoming quarters. If you use forecasting in Outdoo AI, a forecast board automatically generates an associated deal board for pipeline reviews.
Customize team views
View deals by individual, team, or hybrid teams. For hybrid teams, select multiple members or groups to include. Keep in mind:
- You cannot navigate up the management chain for hybrid teams.
- Role-based filtering excludes members with different roles.
Adjust the date range
Set predefined or custom date ranges to focus on specific timeframes.
Filter deals
Add filters for CRM fields or Outdoo AI insights such as warnings and deal scores. Use warning filters to zero in on at-risk deals and drill down into the details for immediate action.
Search deals
Use the search bar to locate specific accounts or deals quickly.
Organize deals for insights
Review by groups or tabs
Deal boards use tabs to group deals by categories like stage, status, or forecast. Set tabs for open pipeline deals to review progress weekly and keep forecasts well-informed.
Create ad hoc groups
Group deals dynamically using up to two CRM or Outdoo AI fields. This flexibility helps you spot patterns and prioritize effectively.
Switch between deal and team views
- By Deal: assess pipeline health by key deal attributes.
- By Team Member: track individual contributions and team performance.
Sort columns
Click column titles to sort deals by attributes like close date or activity.
View more rows
Adjust the number of rows displayed (10, 20, or 50) for better visibility.
Gain deeper deal insights
Use trackers
Add tracker columns to identify risks, such as mentions of competitors in calls or emails. Hover over tracker columns to see relevant phrases, or click View Snippets for full context.
Monitor follow-ups
See scheduled next steps at a glance. Make sure every deal has a follow-up plan in place.
Analyze activity timelines
View activities (emails, calls, meetings, and more) in a 3-week rolling timeline directly on the board. Click the timeline to expand it and explore detailed activity histories.
Dive into risks
The Warnings column highlights potential deal risks. Click a warning to see detailed alerts, including ghosting, last prospect activity, or recommended next steps.
Review contacts
See who is engaged in a deal and whether it is single-threaded or multi-threaded. Hover over the contact count for details, or click to open the contact activity tab.
Keep your CRM up to date
Inline CRM updates
Edit fields like deal stage, close date, and owner directly within the deal board. Updates sync immediately with your CRM, so there is no need for manual data entry elsewhere.
Update via deal inspection
Use the Update CRM tab to modify specific fields while inspecting a deal.
