Notetaker Joining Late?
If the notetaker is joining a meeting later than expected, it may be due to Daylight Savings Time (DST) changes.
Cause:
Daylight Savings Time adjustments can sometimes lead to discrepancies between the scheduled meeting time and the time the notetaker joins. This typically happens when the meeting time is adjusted for DST in one timezone but not in the system, causing a delay in the notetaker’s timing.
To resolve the issue:
- Check Timezone Settings – Ensure that the timezone settings in the system match the correct time zone, especially around Daylight Savings transitions.
- Double-check Meeting Time – Verify that the meeting’s scheduled time reflects the correct time zone, accounting for any recent DST changes.
- Update Calendar Events – If using a calendar integration, ensure that calendar events are updated to reflect the correct time, including DST changes.
By adjusting these settings, the notetaker should join the meeting at the right time.
