Search in Outdoo

Learn how to find calls and information in Outdoo using global search, filtered call lists, and transcript search across three different search methods.

Outdoo has three different ways to search, depending on what you are looking for: a global search in the top navigation, a filtered call list in Conversations, and a transcript search within a specific call.

The search bar in the top navigation bar is a fast way to find accounts, contacts, calls, or deals by name. Type a name, company, or keyword and results appear immediately. Use this when you know roughly what you are looking for and want to navigate to it quickly.

Finding calls with filters

Go to Conversations to search and filter your full call library. The filter panel on the left gives you over 100 filter options, including:

  • Participants — filter by rep, customer name, or email
  • Deal and account — calls linked to a specific opportunity or company
  • Call duration — find short intros, long demos, or anything in between
  • Date range — narrow by when the call happened
  • Trackers — calls where a specific tracker fired (a competitor mention, a keyword, a product feature)
  • Labels — calls tagged with a specific label
  • Call outcome — disposition or CRM stage at the time of the call
  • Scorecard score — filter by performance range
  • Call type — inbound, outbound, recorded, uploaded

You can combine multiple filters. The call count updates as you apply each filter, so you can refine without running a separate search each time.

Searching within a call

On any call page, open the Transcript tab. There is a search bar at the top of the transcript panel. Type a word or phrase and Outdoo jumps to every instance of it in the transcript, highlighting each match. This is useful for quickly finding where a specific topic came up — a competitor name, a pricing discussion, a specific question — without reading through the whole transcript.

Tips

  • If you are searching for a phrase, global search works best for short, distinctive terms. For pattern-based searches across many calls, use filters in Conversations.
  • Trackers are a more reliable way to surface calls about a topic than text search — they are applied consistently and do not depend on exact wording. If you are frequently searching for a specific phrase, consider creating a tracker for it.
  • Saved filter views are not yet available — write down filter combinations you use regularly and re-apply them from the Conversations filter panel.
