Not receiving Slack alerts?
Learn how to diagnose and fix issues preventing Slack alerts from reaching your team, including integration verification and permission checks.
If you are not receiving Slack alerts, work through the steps below to identify and fix the issue.
- Verify Slack integration:
- Confirm that Slack is properly integrated with Outdoo AI. Check under Company Settings > Eco System > Slack Integration.
- Check the selected Slack channel:
- Confirm that you have selected the correct default Slack #channel for alerts.
- Ensure alerts are enabled:
- Make sure the workspace-level alerts toggle is turned on.
- Confirm Slack permissions:
- Ensure Outdoo AI has the necessary permissions to post messages in the selected Slack channel.
- Test the integration:
- Try re-integrating Slack by disconnecting and reconnecting it.
- Check for muted or hidden notifications:
- Verify that Slack notifications are not being muted or hidden by your workspace settings.
