Custom Roleplay Type and Scenario
Outdoo AI provides built-in templates for common roleplay scenarios such as Cold Call, Warm Call, Check-In, and Follow-Up. However, if you have unique business needs, you can create a custom bot type with tailored scenarios—for example, Support Calls, or Cancellation Calls.
Why Create a Custom Roleplay Bot Type?
Custom roleplay bot types allow you to:
- Design scenarios that match your organization’s specific processes.
- Train team members on unique call types (e.g., cancellation handling, support escalation).
- Define custom rules, behaviors, and mindsets for realistic roleplays.
Example: Cancellation Call
A custom “Cancellation Call” bot type may include:
- Mindset: The user is calling in to cancel a subscription.
- Behavior: Logical but urgent, aiming to resolve quickly.
- Rules: The customer insists on canceling within a 2–3 day timeframe.
Scenarios:
- Canceling due to no usage of the product.
- Canceling due to dissatisfaction.
- This creates realistic training situations that align with real-world customer interactions.
How to Create a Custom Roleplay Bot Type
- Navigate to Company Settings
- Go to Company Settings → Manage Role Types.
- Add a New Roleplay Type
- Click Add Roleplay Type.
Enter the following details:
Title (e.g., “Cancellation Call”)
Mindset (customer intent, e.g., “User wants to cancel subscription”)
Behavior (tone and urgency, e.g., “Logical with urgency”)
Rule State (key rules of the interaction)
Define Scenarios
- Go to Manage Scenarios under the new role type.
- Add different customer situations. Examples:
- “Canceling due to no usage.”
- “Canceling because product dissatisfaction.”
- Add as many scenarios as needed to diversify roleplays.
