# Practicing with workflow training

Learn how to use software simulations to safely practice real workflows like CRM updates and call dispositions, with detailed feedback on your performance.

Workflow training is a practice run of a real business process, like updating your CRM after a call or selecting a call disposition, performed in the actual system while you hold a roleplay conversation. An admin has already recorded the ideal version of the process, so your attempt has something real to be measured against.

### Find your assigned workflow

A Workflow is always attached to a roleplay agent. Open the agent from **Practice > Roleplay Agents**, or from the course or Call Blitz it was assigned in (**Practice > Courses** or **Practice > Call Blitz**). Before you start, make sure the Outdoo Workflow Training Chrome extension is installed; the agent page tells you if it's missing.

### How a workflow training session works

When you start the roleplay agent, you hold the conversation as usual, and at the same time you perform the underlying process in the target system, such as Salesforce, Sprinklr, or whatever tool the Workflow was recorded against. Outdoo AI records your video and the underlying events: what you clicked, what fields you filled in, what you skipped, and in what order.

You do not get hints during the session. The goal is to practice the real conversation and the real process together, not a guided walkthrough.

### After you finish

Once you finish, Outdoo AI compares your recording against the admin's ideal one and shows you:

- Average handling time (AHT): how long the process took you compared to the ideal

- Resolution: whether you reached a valid end state for the process

- Steps skipped or done out of order

- Step-level accuracy

You can retry as many times as you want. Each attempt is logged separately, so your manager can see your progression over time, not just your last score.

### Tips for getting the most out of workflow training

- Practice before you need the skill in a live call. Do not wait until the day you start handling that process for real.

- When you get something wrong, read the step-level feedback before retrying. Understand why before you try again.

- If the target system does not match what the Workflow shows, flag it to your manager. The recording may need to be updated.
